Project Description
The infringement Festival is an international, interdisciplinary critical arts festival that features theatre, music, film, culture jamming, street performance and visual arts, with an emphasis on activist art with multiple locations. It began in Montreal in 2004 and has since spread to Ottawa, Toronto, Buffalo, Regina, New York City and Bordeaux, France.
The Buffalo Infringement Festival is 11 days of theatre/electronic music/ poetry/busking/blues/lit/chalk art/r&b/workshops /live painting/hip hop/ improv theatre/classical/dance/jazz /drawing/soul/filmmaking/sculpture/ Folk/yarnbombing/ photography/Rock/ and more taking place in multiple venues in and around Buffalo’s Allentown District. It runs from the last weekend of July through the first weekend of August.
